What to expect from India in this World Cup
India will be starting of as underdogs in this tournament. The expectations among the public should not be too high , there are many reasons for that. Firstly Indians have very little experience of this format of the game, having played only one 20-20 international before. While countries like England and Australia have experienced these in their domestic cricket, India are again lagging behind, although ICL has taken a broad step for enhancement of this form of the game
Secondly the indians have a very inexpierenced team in the abscence of senior players like Sachin, Rahul and Saurav. Also there is a problem in the balling department also as Ajit Agarkar has looked completely out of sorts in the series against England. Thirdly in the abcence of the trio of batting maestros of india, the only strength of Indians which is batting , no longer remains a strength.
